Delicious Pineapple Fried Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings, tips removed, drumettes and flats separated
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce (or more to taste)
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Chicken Wings:
- In a large bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and Sriracha sauce.
- Add chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for deeper flavor.
2. Prepare the Coating:
- In a separate bowl, combine cornstarch, all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Remove chicken wings from the marinade, shaking off excess liquid. Reserve the marinade for later use.
- Dredge each wing in the flour mixture, ensuring a light, even coating. Shake off any excess flour.
