Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package egg roll wrappers (about 20 wrappers)
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing the wrappers)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
- Preparation of Filling:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground pork over medium heat until it is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the shredded cabbage, carrots, and green onions to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper to the skillet. Mix well to combine all the ingredients. Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat and let the filling cool.
