Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then dredge them in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken wings in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 8-10 minutes per batch. Remove the wings from the oil and place them on a wire rack set over a baking sheet to drain.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, hot sauce, and honey.
- Dip each fried chicken wing into the buttery hot sauce mixture, making sure to coat it evenly. Place the coated wings back on the wire rack.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and crispy.
- Serve the crispy chicken wings hot, with your favorite dipping sauce and celery sticks on the side.
Tips:
- For extra crispy wings, you can double fry them. After the first fry, let the wings cool for a few minutes, then fry them again for another 5-8 minutes.
- If you prefer a spicier sauce, you can add more hot sauce to the butter mixture.
- You can also customize the flavor of the wings by adding different spices or seasonings to the flour mixture.
Enjoy your crispy chicken wings!
