Peanut Butter Microwave Fudge

Instructions:

  1. Prepare an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) square baking dish or a similar-sized microwave-safe container. Line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal of the fudge later.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and butter. Heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, or until the butter is completely melted. Be sure to check and stir the mixture every 30 seconds to prevent it from bubbling over.
  3. Once the peanut butter and butter are fully melted and combined, remove the bowl from the microwave.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  5. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the peanut butter mixture. Stir until the mixture becomes thick and smooth. This may take a bit of effort, as the mixture will become quite stiff.
  6. If you’re adding chocolate chips or nuts, fold them into the mixture at this point.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, and use a spatula or the back of a spoon to press it down evenly.
  8. Place the dish in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge has set.
  9. Once the fudge is firm, use the parchment paper overhang to lift it out of the dish. Place it on a cutting board and cut it into small squares.
  10. Enjoy your peanut butter microwave fudge! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

This peanut butter microwave fudge is a delightful treat that’s perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth in a hurry. Feel free to customize it with your favorite mix-ins or drizzle some melted chocolate on top for an extra touch of indulgence.
