Butterfinger Balls

Instructions:

  1. Begin by unwrapping the Butterfinger candy bars and placing them in a zip-top bag. Seal the bag and use a rolling pin or a mallet to crush the candy bars into small pieces. You can also use a food processor for this step if you prefer a finer texture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Butterfinger candy bars and the softened cream cheese. Mix them together until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
  5. Dip each Butterfinger ball into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat them evenly. You can use a fork or toothpicks to help with the dipping process.
  6. Place the chocolate-coated Butterfinger Balls back on the lined baking sheet.
  7. If desired, while the chocolate is still soft, you can sprinkle crushed peanuts or more crushed Butterfinger on top of each ball for added texture and flavor.
  8. Allow the chocolate to harden by placing the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  9. Once the chocolate is set, your Butterfinger Balls are ready to enjoy.

These Butterfinger Balls make for a sweet and indulgent treat for any occasion, whether it’s for a party, a special dessert, or just a fun snack. You can get creative with variations of this recipe, such as using white chocolate or dark chocolate for coating, or adding different toppings for a unique twist.
