Easy Oven Baked Jerk Beef Ribs

  • In a zip lock bag or large bowl- add the jerk seasoning and oil. Mix together to form a paste. Add the ribs and massage in the spiced to the meat. Let sit in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight. 
    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large oven safe dish place to ribs in a single layer. Add the broth and garlic. Cover the dish with foil and Put the ribs into the oven on the middle rack, close the oven door, and forget about the ribs for 3 hours.At the 3 hour mark remove the dish from oven. Take off the foil paper and slim off most of the fat/oil. Using some of the cooking liquid- mix it with the BBQ sauce. Just enough to thin out the bbq sauce (approx. 3 tablespoon to 1/4 cup). Baste the ribs with the sauce. Place the ribs back in the oven and turn on the broil setting for 5 minutes. Watch the ribs carefully as you want some charring but not burning. Remove the ribs and sprinkle with more sauce and fresh herbs. Enjoy!
