Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder for the crust.
Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the butter into the dry mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Pour the milk into the mixture and stir until it forms a thick, sticky dough. It will be different from a traditional pie crust dough.
Press the dough into a greased pie dish or pan, spreading it evenly along the bottom and up the sides to create a crust. The dough may be a little difficult to work with, but it will bake up nicely.
Pour your chosen pie filling into the crust. It could be fruit pie filling, a custard mixture, or any other filling of your choice.
