TURKEY WINGS WITH MUSHROOM GRAVY

For the Mushroom Gravy:

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken or turkey broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready when you finish preparing the turkey wings.
  2. Prepare the Turkey Wings:
    • Rinse the turkey wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
    • Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    • In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, smoked paprika, and rosemary.
    • Rub the turkey wings with olive oil and generously season them with the spice mixture.
  3. Roast the Turkey Wings:
    • Place the seasoned turkey wings in the preheated oven and roast for about 45-50 minutes or until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
    • Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when measured at the thickest part of the wings.
