Homemade Apple Pie Filling

*Directions:

Peeled and slice apples. Place in boiling water for 1 minute. Set apart and keep warm. Boil remaining ingredients to desired thickness. Barely let it come to a full boil. Fill hot sterilized jars alternating apples and syrup until almost full. Run a knife sideways to remove air bubbles. Adding more apples and syrup. “Treat in a boiling water bath. Putting jars in a water bath or tray that allows you to put water on the jars about 1 inch. Boilling for 25 minutes”.
