Burger Patties:

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Season each patty with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Philly Cheesesteak Topping:

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms to the skillet.

  4. Season the vegetables with salt and black pepper.
  5. Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and place the slices of cheese on top of the veggies to melt.

Assembly:

  1. Place each grilled burger patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun.
  2. Spoon the melted cheese and sautéed vegetables over the top of each burger patty.
