Taco Pizza

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions for your pizza crust or homemade dough.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
  3. Drain any excess grease from the skillet, then stir in the taco seasoning packet according to the package instructions. Set aside.
  4. Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  5. Spread the taco sauce evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the taco sauce.
  7. Spread the seasoned ground beef evenly over the cheese.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the ground beef.
  9. Top the pizza with diced tomatoes, red onion, black olives, and jalapeños.
  10. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven according to the instructions for your crust, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  11. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  12. Garnish the pizza with chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the slices.

How to Store Leftovers

If you somehow have any leftovers (although it’s rare with this crowd-pleaser), store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply pop individual slices in the microwave or warm them in the oven until heated through.
