Instructions:
Preheat and Prep:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate.
Cook the Meat Mixture:
In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning mix to the beef mixture, following the package instructions. Stir well and let it simmer for a few minutes. Remove from heat.
Layer the Pie:
Spread the beef mixture evenly in the greased pie plate. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
Prepare the Batter:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick baking mix, milk, and eggs until well combined. Pour this mixture over the beef and cheese in the pie plate.
Bake:
Place the pie plate in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pie is set and the top is golden brown.
