Mississippi Sin Dip

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Prepare the Bread Bowl:

  • Using a sharp knife, cut a circle on top of the sourdough bread and gently scoop out the soft center, leaving a thick shell. Set aside the scooped-out bread for later use.
  • Place the hollowed-out bread bowl on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

3. Prepare the Filling:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped ham, green onions, green bell pepper, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

4. Fill the Bread Bowl:

  • Spoon the filling mixture into the hollowed-out bread bowl, making sure to pack it in tightly and smooth the top.

5. Create the Bread Lid:

  • Take the scooped-out bread and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Place the pieces on the baking sheet around the bread bowl. Spray them lightly with cooking spray.

6. Bake:

  • Bake the filled bread bowl and bread pieces in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the dip is hot and bubbly, and the bread pieces are toasted.
