Spicy noodles with seared kielbasa, shrimp and soft boiled egg

For the Toppings:

  • 200g (7 oz) kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/4 inch pieces
  • 200g (7 oz) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
  • Green onions, sliced for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Optional: Additional vegetables like sliced bell peppers, snap peas, or spinach

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Soft-Boiled Eggs:

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Gently add the eggs and cook for 6-7 minutes for a soft-boiled consistency.
  2. Remove the eggs and place them in an ice water bath to stop the cooking process. Once cool, peel the eggs and set aside.

2. Cook the Noodles:

  1. In a large pot of boiling water, cook the noodles according to the package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

3. Make the Sauce:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili oil, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste. Set aside.
