Instructions:
- In a large pot, combine 4 quarts of water, Old Bay seasoning, salt, olive oil, bay leaves, peppercorns, and red pepper flakes. Squeeze the juice from one lemon into the pot, then add the lemon slices. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once the water is boiling, add the potatoes and onions to the pot. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are just tender.
- Add the garlic, corn, and crab legs to the pot. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the shrimp, crawfish, mussels, and clams to the pot. Stir gently to combine. Cover the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and the shells of the mussels and clams have opened.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Using a slotted spoon or spider skimmer, transfer the seafood and vegetables to a large serving platter or bowl. Discard any mussels or clams that have not opened.
- Serve the seafood boil with the remaining lemon sliced and optional hot sauce and melted butter on the side.
