Double Cheeseburger

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Divide ground beef into 4 equal parts and shape into patties. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
  4. Toast hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Place a slice of American cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
  6. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, followed by ketchup and mustard.
  7. Place a patty on each bun, then top with a slice of cheddar cheese, onion slices, tomato slices, and lettuce.
  8. Serve immediately.
