- Divide the tuna salad mixture evenly between the two slices of bread on the skillet.
- Top each mound of tuna salad with a slice of cheese.
- Place the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up, on top of the cheese.
- Cook the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet or griddle and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
