In the meantime you can make the marinade mixing the rest of the ingredients. Cut the garlic and the chili pepper very finely so you won’t have any big pieces in your marinade. Let the marinade sit for 5 minutes. Once the TVP pieces have soaked for 10 minutes you can drain them and add them to a bowl to cool off. Once they are cool enough to touch you can squeeze all of the excess water out of them.
Put the pieces in a bowl and add the marinade. Mix until all of the pieces are coated and let this marinate for about 15 minutes.
Lastly we’ll fry the pieces, add the sunflower oil to a pan and heat this up. When the oil is hot you can add the pieces to it and fry them for 5 minutes on each side on medium heat, so 10 minutes in total. Once they are done you let them leak out on a bit of kitchen paper towel and serve them! I don’t think they need a sauce but you could also make a sauce to go with it of course. The texture of these pieces is sooo good and they are so flavourful, I really like them a lot! Enjoy!
