Form the Patties:
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions. Gently form each portion into a patty that’s about ¾ inch thick. Try not to overwork the meat to keep the burgers juicy. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up as it cooks.
