Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions:
- Marinate the Chicken:
- Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and pour the buttermilk over them. Make sure the chicken is fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Prepare the Dredge:
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to combine.
