Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz noodles (such as egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Crushed red pepper flakes, for garnish
  • Vegetable oil, for cooking

Recipe Directions

Step 1: Cook the Noodles

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Drain the noodles and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
